What are the chances that someone in the band is a Slipknot fan? I'm definately hearing influences and it was doing my head in. Had to make sure and turns out the opening riff is very similar to Gehenna from All Hope Is Gone.

Yeah man the whole band is just a collection of influences from all over. Some Nu metal, Some shoegaze, some alt and metalcore sprinkled in. It's really just breathtaking music, definitely a landmark album that sets a point for some deftones or metal and shoegaze combination genre
