Imagine being nothing but a commodity, first as a work horse and then as a number at an auction. Only because good hearted people like you, Julie, and your husband Corey, along with like minded people and supporters are so caring do these horses end up living the lives that they deserve, with names, the company of other horses, proper care and love. Billions of animals' lives are taken in slaughter houses every year. These horses were lucky❤ You're doing amazing work💚

I love learning about horses while watching you tube, but am disheartened hearing that some take such horrible care of their animals! Like the comment above: only a “Commodity”. Wish the laws and landscape could be changed so that living, breathing creatures were cared for as they should be. Thank you for the work that you do! Amazing!

@@DeborahKeeney-mg3ft 80 billion farmed animals get killed every year for human consumption. Before their final destination at the slaughterhouses their lives are those of abuse and exploitation. They too are treated like commodities and their lives only have value as long as they serve their purpose. It's so wrong to treat other sentient beings without compassion and without any regard to their lives which are as precious to them as they are to us

Thanks for the update, Julie! It's wonderful to see the latest additions to the family arrive at the farm and to know that they are finally SAFE! Now we need to wait for the arrival of the other four Belgian Draft horses. In meantime, I am continuing to uphold you all with prayers and with love

The tails are not docked. The hair is cut up to the dock so to not get tangled in machinery or carts

You and your rescue do such amazing work. I follow and subscribe to your site all the way from Ontario Canada. 1600 miles and a 23 hour drive. I am so respectful for what you do. It breaks my heart about the slaughter pipe line and I am very ashamed that Canada is part of that pipeline. We are trying to stop it and have some celebrities here supporting that issue. Keep up the great work…❤

And rightly so Julie, I'm glad you haven't been greedy like others with you have mentioned in this video! I'm glad you haven't done another fundraiser and made it clear as you raised more then enough witch is what I said! I'm glad they are all safe and coming to the farm and I hope everything works out for them all good luck! I also know that you will do your upmost to give them a good life unlike other people that are just out for them selfs and what they can make out of people and cry daily for thousands up on thousands of dollars! It's make me sick but i look forward to the next video when you pick them up!

Julie I wonder with the fly spray you mentioned if those battery operated gallon bottles like the bug spray comes in could be used because I cannot imagine using a hand pump spray bottle on those big Belgians your hand would cramp up. So glad you where able to rescue the new kids as you call them.

WOW just incredible what you all have done saving so many lives....How many horses do you already have and how many can u fit on your property?????
