Wonderful conversation. I’m 72 and have done art all my life but always on the side I was a teacher for 30 years . I’m retired now and I work every day on slow stitching or water color sometimes they crossover. Recently I discovered junk journaling. I don’t have the energy to sell anything but I do get a real joy giving things away to friends and family.

Oh my goodness. The national embroidery guild is fantastic and a wonderful source for all. Many of my stitches are from Portugal or the islands called the Azores from my paternal lineage. ❤
