My grandfather had always wanted to hear me sing, but I was always too shy to do it. In July he fell really ill and went into hospital. He rapidly became worse, so I visited him and sang. He loved it and asked me to sing at his funeral ...he passed away 2 hours later. I recorded me singing the song (I knew I'd be too choked up) and my whole family heard me at the funeral and love it also. For Christmas I recorded even more songs and made a mini album for my family. Best present ever, apparently!

I have a ring that looks SO similar to that, I had to double-take when I saw it. It was my grandma's and has a smoky quartz in a similar setting!! I love it so much, everybody comments on how unusual it is! Happy New Year x

oooh, antiques. wish we had that tradition here in Portugal. here everything is too messy and expensive for the conditions the pieces are in. we're fans of Bargain Hunt and Cash in the attic and all those bbc shows... whenever we go out, especially to London, we need to bring some antique thing home... :)))
