These boards are great but I think these companies need a serious price check. £700 -£1000 is a pretty vertical price tag for simple tech.

Way too expensive, yes. Lots of better and cheaper boards now...

@@josipmarasovic8782 which boards do you recommend
@josipmarasovic87824 жыл бұрын
@@rollie3333 If comparing to this one, Backfire X2 will simply eat it on market, Hub motors with no problems of branches and stones going into your belt, much easier maintenance and lower points of malfunction, massively better 50V battery compared to this 33V, excellent acceleration, better deck shape... Ownboard with same wheels is also better than this as well, price is simply too much here comparing to what they offer. Some people think they will have brand quality like iPhone if they select price range in their industry like iPhone...first you have to offer revolution on market, then you are free to charge extra buck for your brand name. When you do this, it simply feels like rip off. :/

As always a great thorough review and glad you liked the board. It should be noted that with the 110mm diameter you’ll have less torque than the Boosted on its smaller diameter wheels. But we may be working on some new pulleys :).

Good point, would love to try any new Pulleys!

Any plans to move the motors above/behind the wheels like on Evolve, instead of underneath the deck? (Curb clearance issues come to mind...)
@slickrevolution70466 жыл бұрын
jaimes moran no as we don’t encourage riding off curbs plus we want to keep our eboards at a practical length for commuting :)
@eSk8r6 жыл бұрын
@@esk8jaimes I find the evolve boards a real hassle to carry on the tube compared to the slick or boosted, and you end up putting pressure on the motor mounts when u stand it up. I do love the look of them sticking out nice with gold on the gtx if i have the car with me! Pros and Cons :)

I was looking at specs on your website. 1. Any option for a longer range battery? Sanyo Tesla style for instance, or perhaps a 12s 30Q ? 2. What weight max load can the Carbon deck handle? I only saw the bamboo version. 3. What size motors are on the Flex E? Motor specs?

Do you recommend the Slick Revolution Rough or Foamie wheels for cobblestone streets & truncated sidewalks?
@contorta9604 жыл бұрын
Interesting the top speed is marketed as 27mph not 20.

How to break? I have a new board and at the slowest brake settings it keeps launching me the first half second with full break at 30 km/h... Before it goes into a normal slow break what I expected. Alot of wounds now.. And yes calibrated it multiple times

Hey Jack wonderful review ⭐️ first class ✔️ love that fact there are great EBoard developers and great work coming out of Great Britain )) Big fan :) this looks like a nice unit )) I personally like the reverse motor mounts like the Boosted ...good clearance at the back...... if I ever outlaw Eskateboards it will be hard to see those dam motors tucked nicely in there )) great work Slick Revolution keep up the great work Jack ✔️ cheers my man 👍 Andrew )(

Hrmm, $849 for the Lotus Elise of Electric Skateboard seems a bit steep for me, what would you consider the slightly used Toyota Camry of Electric Skateboards?

If anyone has £1000 to spend on a board, buy a evolve or something different. I brought one and was disappointed with the board. For me the slick was not responsive enough and was lacking in acceleration. If I paid £500 I would of been happy, but for a grand I wish I brought another make. Had more fun out of my meepo v2p. Customer service was excellent with slick revolution and I wish I could of brought different gear options with the wheels sizes to give them more acceleration.

Top speed is crazy dissapointing. Right now 25mph is a standard. Anything less than that is unacceptable.
@olivermurphy975 жыл бұрын
100% agree. I just upgraded my boosted V1 wheels to 80mm was able to hit 45kph down hill, but the pullys are poor for rapid deceleration. Was considering this as my next upgrade scene inside had supposedly higher speed and better range, I guess not now

Ive done 20 mph on my Flex 1.0....Think Ill stick to that. Agree with what you said about the brakes though, its like a handbrake lol

I've been since told you can calibrate the remote and change settings to make breaking more gradual, however i can neither deny or confirm if this is true! :)
