Don't need tephra anti-lag for flames per say. Just retarding the ignition timing above 4.5krpm+ in the low load area of the map will get things fired up. The anti lag does give you a more continuous flame show as it acts as a limiter or 2 stepper.

So in this video I’m explaining getting the consistent as you said “anti-lag” which if you watch the video I explained it’s actually spark cut which is also different then antilag but similar affects. You do need Tephra for this. Yes I do understand there are other way to get a back fire to happen but not the same or what the video was about.

k3nto240 True true lol yea title was kinda for baiting in the explanation of the spark cut. Everyone always messaging and asking how to get the “anti-lag” ( which I wish I had for roll racing and such) so just wanted to explain for all curious. I have the 2 step installed on mine when chris carby was tuning, I dont h.g ave the flex fuel yet,was planning to take it to AG fir them to install. But I was advised by a mechanic why install it get programmed and I'm going to diva build, so I put it on hold for now... I go as far as Palm beach and on the turnpike stations they have E85.

Richard Knight Yea we have the good routes here in Florida for e85 👍🏼 Chris can also buy the program and do this affect without flex fuel tuning it.

You’ll have a better chance with a test pipe to shoot flames but you can still get big backfire with a HFC. I have one and pop a lot but I haven’t had a flame tune or anything just basic flexfuel.

Do you recommend an inline filter for Flex Fuel or is it not that serious? I hear get the filter, then I hear it doesn't matter...just curious if you run one or no.

Yea some people run them and some don’t. For peace of mind I DO run a inline filter. With my heavy fuel demand last thing I would want is an injector getting clogged even a little bit. I have taken mine apart and cleaned it and I did find a couple extremely small deposits. Would that just go right threw the injector?? Not sure but not about to test it

Itachlazcano21 Rolling antilag is what it sounds like your looking for. Easiest way I know of getting that feature is getting a standalone fuel management such as Motec, Haltech or AEM Infinity

Evo Lee I took it off for now until I figure out a rubber gasket or something. The billet on the aluminum valve cover keeps loosening up on its own every so often. After re tightening I’ve and over..then getting oil coming out one for those times I was done with it. Contacted the company and they didn’t offer any assistance at all! 👎🏼

Ok so what if I dont want the flex fuel kit and just want kris to give me 2 maps with my tune? So basically 1 for 93 and 1 for 100% e85 whenever I want to switch fuels I can switch the map by using cruise control or something.

LoSo_SnRs I got the flex fuel kit because with between dual map switching the ethanol content is never the exact same as the last time and technically there is always a little bit of one gas or the other. That makes it to where the tune isn’t exact to the ethanol content it was tuned with. Flex fuel adjust the map according to exactly what you have hence making it safer. Plus no button holding between maps, you just fill it up. You pay for both maps regardless so buying the flex kit was worth it in my opinion.

@@xtra_slo1596 oh ok I see what you mean. It's that mine is full e85 and I'm thinking of doing a 93 tune so I wanted to see my best options and not have buy the kit and do another tune. But I guess it might be the best option to fo the flex fuel kit

@xtra_slo1596 bro E85 is too far for me, so I'm going to stay with 93 octane and get the car tune on 93 I just want 380 hp. I'm happy. My clutch is gone, so you think I can put a stock clutch for this power goals? 380 and the torque lower always , the car is making maybe 320 with bolts on just custom tune but is not done right that's why I need to get the car tune properly

wtf flexfuel kit has ethanol reading with an Android but it doesn't work. i brought it up and basically they said idk. Kit works fine beside that but thats one reason why i bought it.
