Flexi rod set on Flat ironed natural hair

I flexi rod set my one week old flat ironed hair using
Curls Blueberry Twist n Shout
Mielle Organics Mint Almond Oil
Black Castor Oil Eco Styler Gel.
I used the purple (larger) flexi rods in the back because my hair is longer. In the front I used smaller (gray) rods.

You should try satin pillow rollers on your “flat ironed” hair it’s great for going from straight to curly and you can sleep on them comfortably there super soft

NevaehSkyy25 it’s because the product is water based. Putting watery products on your flat ironed hair makes it revert back to curly.

I can't even go on 2nd day hair- it gets so freakin greasy overnight. I even asked my doctor about it, whether I have like an endocrine problem or something and she said I just have oily skin/hair and to be grateful because my skin won't wrinkle until I'm much older. 😒 But it sucks because it takes 45 min to dry and flat iron, so I don't want to deal with that every day. I have friends who go 3 days straight and then curl it or wear up dos for another 2 days before washing. Mine would be greasy to the ends by day 3. Any recommendations?
