@StrengthsideАй бұрын
@@caRIOcaMundial I'd recommend around 20-30% of your bodyweight. Definitely doesn't take much. But you could take the other route of putting RDL's in your strength training sessions to double as mobility work. Then pushing the weight up, while not sacrificing form is the way to go!

As a former college athlete, I've tried to maintain good fitness habits after college. Now at 67, I'm looking for new ways, better ways, to train. I think you guys are awesome! I'm incorporating many of your suggestions into my routines. Much thanks!

I'm a 62-year-old female (just had a birthday) and I'm committing to doing one of your workouts every other day for a year. As a beach volleyball athlete I feel like these are essential for keeping strong and flexible while improving my game. I love the animal movement exercises and send your videos to everyone I know. I love the shirt you're wearing in this video, how do I get one? It's my birthday haha. Thanks for putting out this content, in my opinion it's the best on KZbin.❤

I've learned a trick for the couch stretch in yoga. With inhale push the knee of the stretched leg into the ground as if you want to pull the knee far from the hip, it will put a pelvis into the posterior tilt and will activate the glutes at the same time.

What's good for two out of three of these is upholsterers fabric hanging from the ceiling with knots to make circles, I found 50 mm strapping is better than 25 and two into one beam is not better, than each one in its own beam, if they can't have that steel frame.

Shoulder mobility is my nemesis. I have great hip flexibility/strength. I can bend over straight-legged and put palms on the ground.. and almost have my chest on the ground with a pancake. But shoulders? I have been working on better mobility for 9 months and it's a little better.. but dang! I stand with my back to the wall (or lay on the floor) and try to put my hands straight up? Not even close. I'm a half foot away from the wall! I can hang from a bar for over 2 minutes though (and do so daily). I can't really figure it out.. and it's bumming me out because I have such a banana handstand!

Hey bro, any advice for wrist pain (medial) rehab/mobility? It's on my left wrist and I can't hardly put all my weight on it when doing a pushup for example. Lately, I have been working around the pain, but I don't want it to be a chronic condition in the long run.
all these are great except couch. I had a weird issue in 2022 that affected my right leg...still no diagnosis. it has affected my right leg in particular the femoral nerve, main right thigh and inner thigh muscle so when I even do a normal wake up stretch out in bed those two muscles spasm and I have to back out of the stretch. I have been getting the same when trying a simple quad stretch. So that couch movement would be excruciating for me. Any softer option of that couch stretch I could try? Thanks in advance

couch strech for sure the one that is hard , but on my left leg because of my acl torn ...

I suffer from neck pain and pain in one of my hands/wrists pretty frequently, and they might be related. Also when I do wall slides, i cannot keep my Left wrist in contact with the wall. What is the remedy, anybody? Weak external rotators and tight anterior delts, int rotators? Whats the best way to strengthen the former? That silly cable ext rotation or other rotator cuff work?

an issue i always run into is i can get really deep, and even keep my back sorta straight and heels down but if i do all of that i must have my arms forward or have some sort of weight in front of me or i just tip over backwards. like i cant figure out how to do all of that without my center of gavity going too far back. like i gotta pick 2 of the three if i wanna be stable. im not sure if im just not lean enough or if my anatomy is to blame (kinda short femurs relative to height) or if its still a skill issue
@perotalАй бұрын
maybe ankle mobility restrictions. Also make sure the weight is equally distributed (form a tripod with each foot) instead of all the weight on the heels
