I don't think they are AI cars for now. It's just that you can add multiple cars. Hopefully they will add AI behaviour system to the game to assign it to those cars

No, far from it. Yeah as above comment says, it's just both games develop/update at different rates. Last month October was heavy with updates for DriveX for example
