holy fck 😮 06:21 minutes thru 06:29 minutes was skating at an extremely ( kinda ridiculous,ngl..) , extremely high speed. I know that run / corner & Trotta was flat out railing into it like nobody ive seen do.... to jank that standy toeside check at that rate of travel is another lvl entirely. im working insanely hard to reach any manner of understanding the 'how' part of how to summon the heroic will ( b^lls) to initiate at that velocity ....i got the form & hardware....it is such a thin line these guys are threading....it is THE stoke .

Just curiosity. What kind of the board is it? Longboard or skateboard. If it's skate board, isn't that made for do tricks? Why use it to drive?

they're all skateboards. They gentrified, OG, correct classifier for them is ,' longboard ' however, these days , the downhill / freeride discipline is going thru metamorphosis; wheel ,truck & skill tech has reached a new plateau recently. ' longboard' use in downhill / freeride has seen the advent of smol,fast, race boi like setups that used to be exclusively the realm of experimenting pro racer skaters has trickled to the masses. Sub 33" x look less than 9.5" wide , popsicle sized ,super stiff race decks are getting setup w slalom trucks ,wide usually not standupslide friendly wheels & split baseplate angles to permit them to standup & drift setups with 20" wheelbases as tho they're 39" decks w 27" wheelbases....this is thru scuba or hammerheads being used as a centering enhancement by being bolted to the underside of the setup ,under the front heel . It results in a tiny , squirrelly, normally very straightline centric setup you would not feel it wise to throw a huge blasting slide on into being a freeride , extended slide distance monster. My point being , yes, boomer age skaters will call them longboards, but the modern dh setup is maybe more accurately called a 'race setup skateboard' or what we call them are "dh rigs" or "freeride rigs" or just " setup" ....no body says 'longboard' anymore except surfers & kookish subreddits ....
