Flexispot Standing Desk Review - And Why You Need a Sit Stand Desk!

Standing Desks are AWESOME, and a must-use for developers or anyone working at a computer all day. I've been using a stand up desk for 4 years and finally got my hands on a Flexispot E5 bit.ly/2OTJMa6 for review.

Our company provided us with adjustable stand/sit desks with herman miller aerons. I always preferred my home setup with a chair that can lean as you can take your back out of it without having to stand. Get a nice chair though....

It’s cool that you’re still using standing desks. Speaks for standing desks more than any single review can. How about the fluidstance, are you still using it or have you found something better?

My daily setup is a sit/stand desk, which I change 3-5 times a day. A fluid stance, which I use at least once a day, and one of these www.autonomous.ai/office-chairs/ergonomic-stool . Between that mix, I have an amazing amount of different options throughout the day!

It's an ergodox-ez. (ergodox-ex.com) I actually just got a new one I'll be doing an unboxing on that here soon - the new one has backlighting on each key! I love it for 3 reasons: it's a split keyboard, it's fully-programmable - you can make any key do anything and have "layers" to your keyboard, it's a mechanical keyboard, I prefer tactile key-switches, but not clicky keys e.g. Cherry MX Brown key-switches not Cherry MX Blues.

Cool review. I'm down for more reviews as well as the usual coding videos. I think it's safe to ignore the dislikes on this one - people just get annoyed when they see anything different than what they originally subscribed for.

My setup is silly, I actually use a clothes hamper to raise my keyboard, and tilt my monitor. Which means my neck is either always down, or I tilt my eyes down. 😒 Look forward to getting a proper desk one day.

I had a rubbermaid box on top of a desk for a while haha. I wanted to make sure I truly liked standing before committing to a desk.

Yes! I love it! Im' actually getting my hands on the latest Ergodox EZ one here in about a week - it has programmable LED's for each key now and user-changeable keyswitches, so they keep making them even better.

Thanks! I would definitely recommend this one over the IKEA desk - I know several people personally who weren't too happy with the IKEA desk.

So I had a lot more footage...but (to me) it ended up super boring - like "wow, that's a leg" "wow, that's a black rectangle desk", so I opted to cut it out in favor of the more far-off views...since it's just a desk really at the end of the day.
