I watched this review when looking into standing desks. Was put off by the woble but bought their 'flagship' E6 as it had 'improved stability'. Have to say, even at full height there's no give in it. Its rock solid. You should get in touch and see if they'll send you one to make amends.

I bought a Flexispot desk the other day and it seems they really improved their quality from when this video was made. It does not wobble at all and there were no factory defects. Maybe the other brand is higher quality but for the one I got being almost half the price and still very solid I can't complain. Only time will tell how well it lasts, but I'm really happy with it so far.

Just received the Flexispot desk and it is good. No damage to anything whatsoever. Agree with you about sideways stability. The only thing I did not like is the holes missing for the controller fiiting on the wood. I had to carefully drill them myself. Nice review

I bought a Flexispot E1B with single motor on Black Friday for 210€ and I can say it's a great product ... It's not even close to description in this video! This desk is awesome for home use it's very sturdy and .... There was no damages or any flaws... quality is amazing!

I just bought a Flexispot EC1 48'' × 30'' for $270 shipped. Maybe I'm just lucky, but the top isn't scuffed at all. Also, the pilot holes were already drilled. They also sent some 3m cable management loops. This seems to address most of the complaints from this video. Maybe they were listening to the reviews and improved over the last year. It is a great desk for the price.

This might be for this particular model, I'm using the newest model they have and it has dual motors, the telescope legs are on the upper side and even with my heavy oak desk on it it is still very sturdy, even if I put a wider desk on it then for what it is rated for. cost me 350€ by the way

Looks like they upgraded a lot through-out the years, the newer model I want to get EC5 support up to 220LBS with bamboo top and it's around $400 cheaper than a smaller upliftdesk

So, I was about to pull the trigger on a Flexispot desk about a week ago. I'm in the market for a new desk and it needs to be a "standing" desk since I work from home and am an avid gamer. So I spend about 10+ hours a day at my PC. This review completely changed my choice on what desk I was going to get. I was about to spend $550 on a E5 flexispot desk and after your review, I went with the UPLIFT instead. UPLIFT was more money, but the quality was the deciding factor. I ordered two Flexispot desks, but they delivered them to the wrong address over a week ago. I called their customer support and the guy said they would sort it out in 2-days... 2-days went by and nothing. I called again and this time they asked if I could go PICK UP THE DESKS MYSELF!? I just bought one from Staples yesterday and first impressions seem to be a lot better than this video had. It's very stable, does not wobble at all, and the top of it was not scratched up at all. Only used for a day but I'm really happy with it.

i bought one before this video. still works amazing and no real issues. the only problem i have is the desk height. at the lowest setting possible it’s still too tall. even with my chair raised to its max height. i’m 5’10 shmedium sized. i’m gonna chop the legs down and see what happens

The basic 48x30 is only $300 on Amazon now. Personally I bought it before seeing the review and I'll stick with it just because of the price. The downsides definitely aren't ideal, but I think its a good tradeoff for those of us who want a starter sit stand desk. I'm also putting this right next to a cabinet so the side to side wobble shouldn't be as big an issue for me, especially with two monitors, a speaker, and various other objects helping weight it down. I might just upgrade the table top a few years from now and upgrade the legs and motor with a better brand down the road. The nice thing about these is how incredibly flexible the systems are. Working from home my current desk is just too bulky without enough leg room and standing here and there would be a nice change of pace.

I bought the same one. The 3 stage is great because I’m 5’4 and it was impossible to find a desk brand that goes as low as I needed, 24”. The dual motor is so quiet and smooth. I don’t have a problem with wobbling at all. I really love this desk.

have a flexispot for 2 yrs, e5 standing desk, it arrived in mint condition, chose black chipwood table top, shopping on the site was a breeze good site design, better than Uplift's site, cost me $309 for 48x24" table altogther w/ the legs. Their customer svc is very good, warranty very good, the table top i thought was gonna be cheap actually felt nice, thick, sturdy and good quality; same with the motor legs. Past month, legs started to squeak and minor vibration like a door but only near the beginning or end of movement, not in between. I say customer svc was good b/c they were quick to send me new legs as soon as i notified them but atm i refused b/c i dont' wanna deal w/ it. I tried to lube and reset the table but seemed to make it squeak longer and louder, maybe i'll take their offer and just replace legs.

I bought the stand up cycle desk and was very happy with the quality, immediately had some issues with the lever to raise and lower the desk, called customer service, the person who answered the phone was not very professional, wanted me to take a video or Pic of the stationary part and send it to them, I asked for tech support, she put me on hold for 10 minutes, then hung up on me. I called back, no one answered. Emailed them, asking for assistance, did not receive any help, after emailing back and forth 4 times, finally discovered on my own that the lever for raising the desktop up and down will only work if the slide option of the desktop is in the closest position to the user. Good product, horrible customer service.

I am 5 '3" and have cubital tunnel syndrome. The goal for getting the flexispot EC1-48" desk was to help me with the condition since i have to continuous long hours in-front of the screen. Since the height of the desk minimum to 25" it doesn't provides me the neutral position. I have been using extra cushions on the chair to increase the height and foot rest too. However my condition has got only worst. I reached out to the flexispot however they gave me the standard response that I am no longer eligible for returns since i have past 30 days. I don't recommend this product.

Sorry for your experience but fwiw, I can tell you that the UpLift desks get much lower. I now have three of them in our offices, one of which is approx two years old and I absolutely love them.

Read the Wirecutter review from November. Flexispot is cheaper than Uplift. If you want to spend less and get less sturdy product, Flexispot is probably fine. If you want to customize and get something super sturdy, Uplift is better (per Wirecutter and review in this video).

BIG HACK, I ordered a Vevo sit/stand frame from Massdrop (now called Drop) for $250 and Ikea has beautiful counter tops for ~$150 at about 74" wide. BOOM. High quality sit/stand desk for ~$400.

Bought the 48x30 and it wobbles even when all the way down. It wobbles A TON if it goes above the default height. Bought it for $200 dollars on sale but tbh with this amount of wobble from just moving my mouse around and even typing it's not worth it. Gonna go back to my old sitting desk that doesn't wobble. I would be okay using this if it didn't wobble even when it was on default height :/
