Suddenly everyone s attempting a production of Newsies, I don't know why. The important issue is that Newsies is a technically difficult show to perform, and schools should pick shows according to their available skills and resources. This production is very much a case of overreach in oh so many ways. This video will be of interest to FL High School and everyone involved in the production, but no-one else I'm afraid. A tip to amateur performers in absolutely any area of performance ─ choose your material within the scope of your skills. A simple piece performed well comes off much better than a more complex piece with a performance full of problems. This is said meaning to be helpful - I don't wish to be unkind.
