This kind of questions religion in a way. At the end where he said let there be light. Did he created another universe? Did machines became gods? And would we have to serve machines? If not us would another type of creatures serve them? Did the consciousness of men were downloaded to the other creatures and they became self aware? And then where would we go from then? I hope there is a sequel to this. I love tackling these sort of topics. Such a great novel. Thanks for the upload.

I'm an Orthodox Christian, and this is my favorite scifi story. In my belief system, all things material and immaterial were created by God. Nothing existed before he did this, so all things are made up of him. I believe eventually all things will return to the source of creation. Any how, it is a great story, definitely stretches the mind!

I remember this story. Read it at work as a page at the local library. It was in a newly acquired book, if I recall correctly. "Nine Tomorrows". I was a voracious reader, but not a very efficient page😏.
