Kelsey is the kind of a person who would come home after a long flight and tell us fun stories about what happened in the cockpit. It’s so fun to listen to. I hope one day I’ll also be the one telling my friends about my experience in the cockpit!!!

I don’t remember the exact circumstances or the events that lead to this, but when we’d deploy, the pilot the crew and the mechanics would fly with us when we’d deploy. I guess the copilot just received qualifications, or wings, or whatever, but the result was that the mechanics swapped his seat out on the flight deck with a toddler’s high-chair from the hotel restaurant. So after all the briefings the crew had their ceremony of presenting the copilot with his “special chair.” Good laughs all around, and memorable photos.

I remember as a FA after the flight and there were just the crew out for dinner and this dude walks up, sits down and none of us knew who he was. Really long hair, jeans...we just didn't know him. After a question from one of us...he was the FO. He wore a short wig to work. Funny. The only time I went up to the cockpit for more than a few minutes was when we had no passengers and they let me listen in on the radio as they were landing. Only when no passengers. My favorite thing to do!

As a techie, I was once asked by ambulance crew if I can remove locks without an angly grinder once (I'm was out on fieldwork with a van in the middle of nowhere). I told them I had several options and flowed then to a farm. Inside of the barn was a woman in her 50's on a bdsm attached with loads of padlocks and steel shackles and a guy still looking flabbergasted at a broken key🤣 . The locks where ali express quality so a big screwdriver opened all of them, but your attendant had it easy compared to there red faces🤣

When I used to work on the ambulance and two ambulances were coming back to the station at the same time, we'd turn on our lights and sirens at each other. One time, I rolled down my window and asked, not if the other ambulance had an Grey Poupon, but if they had any normal saline. X-D Earlier on in my time as an EMT, I was rolling with a partner and another ambulance from our company was at the same hospital as we were and they had neglected to lock the door to the ambulance so my partner opened the door and switched on the lights and siren so that, as soon as the driver turned the key, they'd have lights and siren blaring. Then we didn't have another call so we parked our ambulance where you could see the other one but it was unlikely that they'd see us and we had a good laugh when they turned the key and the code 3 equipment started blaring right by the door to the emergency department. I wish we had been close enough to see their faces clearly. lmao

I know the feeling. I'm just a barely ok looking guy and my friend is good looking and tall. At this Halloween party this girl introduces herself to us and I'm a person from a different city and my friend has visited me in that city before but he's not from there (I am). She proceeds asking HIM a million questions about that city. She was obviously into my friend and I was thinking "at least pick something different to ask him about..." I was standing right there. I have to be honest but that hurt my feelings a bit. But I just smiled and discreetly walked away

I could be wrong, I'm not a pilot, but I believe the "no personal devices" is only law during the "sterile" portions of flight (departure and approach). Whether or not they can use them during cruise is a matter of company policy.

Well, you got me wondering that the perturbed flight assistant at the back of the plane and not a passenger fanciered herself as Ken. If you told her, "I am not Ken," you might have not known what hit you in that mid air collision. About the bin pics... IF you bring up caving, not a big deal at all. Great call, maintance not airport fire and rescue. I got the pilot of a SAR helicopter in trouble when I got him on my idea of being a swimmer/jumper and he was aranging a sorty and the SAR mechanic started screaming over the phone, "Are you Fing crazy!" He did manage to get me on a crash tender with my camera, and I knew that was going to be fun when the driver asked the turret man, "Are you going to turn that pisser of yours on against the wind and flood me out again?" We hit the tarmac and boy did the driver love the gas, but the turret man told me he was right and if we go topside, and he hits the water against the wind, I would be washed off the topp of the crash tender. I told him I also studied being a stunt man and if that happened, could handled it. Both turret man and driver were good to go and I was on top and got an almost great picture, but only had the standard lens, not the wide angle I needed. With my best friend invading a closed nike sight, knew to pay attention to the wind sock and was downwind for the deluge that occurred in front of us. Otherwise, I would have slipped out the door and let the both of them eat the water they pissed. Also got rejected from the dip dunk of ejection seat training for the test pilots as I talked them into trying. The lifeguard from PAX's pool ran that gem and asked me if I want to drown. I let him now I survived a drowning half a mile from anything, and he told me I passed the test because I was a dumbass and already figured out how to live. He still didn't want the command BS should something go wrong.
