Flight from Charlevoix, Michigan to Mackinac Island

I finally got to take Lori to Mackinac Island, MI, which is hard to describe. It is a magical place full of history and fun things to do. Flying General Aviation is the best way to get there. We ended the day in Harbor Springs, MI, which is 1,600 nautical (1,841miles) from our departure point, Paine Field.

So what is the definition of “motorized” on Mackinaw Is? I saw that there were electric golf carts (which have electric motors). Do they allow Teslas?

The golf carts are only for the golf course. eBikes are only allowed if you have a disability but due to privacy laws they can’t ask and a LOT of people are not completely honest about that.

No Teslas. The only real motorized vehicles are police and fire department. You should take your wife there someday. Stay somewhere on the mainland that is reasonbably priced.
