At about 0:47 starts the background song, "Dance Of the Hours", later known as the "Hello Muddah, Hello Faddah" song. Toward the end of the video is "Pomp and Circumstance".

There is a video on KZbin that you may want to listen to and see if this is the one. It is "Egyptian Ballet" by the London Theatre Orchestra. It shows the composer as Alexandre Luigini. Perhaps this is the one you are looking for.

sclm046...But what was the music before 'Dance of the Hours'? I heard it just two days ago on a Chicago Classical station WFMT and the annoucer called it 'The Egyptian Ballet' by Alexander Louie Ginni but a search on Amazon and Wikipedia of that info has showed me nothing. Regards Sam. 4/2/2012

Whilst watching this video, I thought exactly the same! Long ago, Far away, and so much better than it is today? But maybe that's just a romanticized view of the past?
