See what SunExpress 🇹🇷 can offer | Is it better than Jet2?

Welcome to my 601st flight on SunExpress from Antalya to Edinburgh. SunExpress is the specialist in Turkish Mediterranean sunny coastline destinations. It is the creation of a joint venture between Lufthansa and Turkish Airlines, with the focus on bringing more passengers from all over Europe to Turkish destinations. They are also flying to a vast number of domestic destinations, making them one of the important airlines within Turkiye (formerly Turkey).
In this video, I am travelling on SunExpress back from Antalya to Edinburgh, after spending a week in Turkiye. This is my second trip to Antalya (first on Jet2.com in Christmas 2021), so it would be good to see how SunExpress perform compared to other traditional airlines, such as Jet2, easyJet, TUI, etc. Join me in this video for the full review of the flight and I hope you will enjoy it.

I wasn’t impressed with Sun Express. We flew out of Gatwick so 2100 going out and 1400 coming back. I would look at other airlines before Sun express for any future holidays to Turkey

nice video. in Hanover we are lucky that Sunexpress can also fly at night and lands in Turkey early in the morning. return flights then depart at 11pm... Sunexpress has new and modern airplanes

Yes, SunExpress is a nice airlines, no different than most LCC in Europe and it is good to have more choices for consumers. They have more flights to major airports compared to EDI and the ability of arriving in Turkey early in the morning would certainly be more attractive to consumers. Thanks for watching!

I looked at the seat map and looks very similar to the 737-800 do both 737 and 737 max have the same seat map?

No, both B737-800 and B737 MAX have slightly different seating.

I'm going to fly SunExpress from Antalya in august. We also have to pay a fee if we check in on the airport. My touroperator says that if I dont want to pay that fee, I need to check in online. But I have checked-in bagage aswell with me? So I need to go to the check-in desk, even if i check in online?

I don't think there is any public transportation, you may need to take taxi. I could be wrong as I have not travel between two terminals

Yes, I didn't pay for check in as well, just got hotel to print the boarding passes for us
