Fortunately on March they start serving hot meals on long haul flight Zrh - ist still received that paperbag snack with hard inedible sandwich But on ist - cgk got 2 times hot meals Transit system in IST is so inefficient, you are dragged to the center of the terminal and back again to other end of the terminal to catch your flight And they usually start boarding 50 mins before take off schedule, so on short lay over you have to run

@@amiruddinmahian5611 yeah , on good side , the food there is not expensive compared to DOH or airport in Europe , so you still can stock some hot meals before flight hehe

I miss flying so much. It's definitely a blessing for being able to fly at this moment, experiencing the feeling of walking through the terminal and aerobridge. IST is so spacious and beautiful, as compared to the previous airport which I visited in 2017. Guess you have a lot of destinations that you wanted to fly and explore once the border is open. =D

yeah, I miss flying too. this was my second last flight (the latest flight was on MH KUL-BKI). I have few more reservations but for now all of them were cancelled/rescheduled. I look forward to fly more once the border is open, but when? only God knows 😂

Yup saya pun rindu. Saya cuma terlewat seminggu je yang boleh travel ke Istanbul dalam transit yang lama tanpa perlu tunjuk result pcr. Masa saya terbang ni turki dah wajibkan result pcr untuk masuk ke turki. hopefully nanti boleh la travel semula ke sini.b

The inflight offering on Turkish really does not make me want to fly with them this year to Pakistan, very basic offerings and their fare is not significantly cheaper than Qatar, Etihad, or Emirates yet the other 3 offer hot meals + pillows on their flights. Emirates and Qatar still even give amenity kits on long haul flights.

Indeed. The only reason I chose them were short connection time and generous luggage allowance for student like me. However, above all, I could simply conclude it as a frustrating onboard experience

@@amiruddinmahian5611 They do have a good baggage allowance, I agree. My father flew with them from Houston IAH to KHI Karachi and they had a temporary promo for 3 checked baggage plus the usual carry on. A smart way to make use of the lower flight loads and attract customers.
