I don't agree with anything that you said, career mode is the best thing since sliced bread. The launch was bumpy, but I've plowed in 40h or so in a week and a bit, and I love it. I've cried a bit when long flights have been lost due to the game crashing, but after the last patch it's much better. I also restart the game to clear caches and memory after a couple of flights. I'm confident they will sort it out in the next couple of patch releases.

I agree, this guy is just trying to cash in on the game having a bad launch. If you look he has now changed all his old videos to have msfs 2024 in the title just to get views.

I am going to check this out zero and get back to you. But I do believe what you looked at was downloadable content that you can download from the market place which you can choose to download or not when it becomes available on the marketplace and is linked to 2020 downloadable content,also any actual updates will not be coming from market place as they will be linked into the cloud downloads 😊

Im confident MS will fix a lot of the problems but it will take sooooooo much damn time. Maybe in 6-12 months? Last update helped me on PC (VR) with low textures but it’s still a long way to go. 2020 feels better specially in VR. The move from DirectX11 to 12 was not good for VR. but ppl in the USA and Down Under seem to have a good time without streaming problems …

Consoles where NEVER designed for intensive applications , the extra long refresh cycle proves it , update 5 for msfs2020 proved it !, when they traded PC performance so they could stuff it in a console , SO if you're looking to point fingers , point em at yourself !

ive gone back to 2020 on my xbox x but im happy to play 2024 on my pc runs ok on both but i have hotas on my pc that aint compatible with the xbox

When i watched the dev thing that they do. They said the standard version of FS2024 will be 1.15TB in size. I was thinkong about buying a bigger nvme ssd drive for it and see if makes any diffrence at all. Might buy one in new years sales or something

As I told ya the full 1tb game is not available that is why asobo had the decision to have the majority of the game download and play via the cloud

Does this man have anything positive to say about Microsoft flight simulator 2024. I mean obviously he has some good points when the flight simulator came out it didn't launch in a very good fashion but after some of the updates it's actually playing very well now. As far as the storage required I believe they said that if they didn't put the game in the cloud it would have needed 1.5 terabytes of space so I think when he's referring to the storage I believe he might have gotten that wrong...

Thanks for a great video. And well I am sorry to see and hear what console gamers are struggling with. But if it is any relief for you the same is it for us on the PC side. This simulator is so badly optimized that it is frustrating. But this is what you are getting for getting the game/simulator out whay before it should have. And chasing the sweet sweet money before Christmas. This simulator should never have been released before next Christmas. I have lost count of all the crashes I have with this simulator and the stupid AI ATC in the mission is just afoul bad. I am so happy I didn't buy the most expensive Pack of this simulator. We are lucky if this simulator will be in a good shape next Christmas

Your spot on North, I have a high end PC with a 4090 latest drivers etc. I had one semi successful flight on the inibuilds a330 then when I clicked on the tab to end the flight the screen just froze. This has happened on more than one occasion. Today the same aircraft was a complete disaster. The flight didn't go well at all. The AI aircraft movement is horrendous! aircraft appearing and disappearing right in front of you. Aircraft crashing into each other while taxing. MSFS 2024 definitely needs some serious optimization. This patch in my view certainly didn't do much.

ANyways, just park the planes for a month or two, it wont be long before the updates are finished for fixing this total Microsoft/ Asobo bonehead screw up and then we'll get back to enjoying it like we were meant to do!

im not sure what your talking about, sorry. The client has 12 GB, not sure where you got that 277GB from. A 12GB client cant require 277GB to update..... Its up to you to install anything. Well said, totally agree. This game will be a massive success, the foundation is there for all to see. This is just a guy who can't handle change very well. If he hates it just play 2020 and leave the negatives about 2024.
