FLIGHT SONG

'Flight Song' was created by Kim Andre Arnsen and Euan Tait to show gratitude to Dr. Anton Armstrong and the St. Olaf Choir for their sublime performances. The piece encapsulates images of each singer’s hidden songs, life stories and deep longings, while the conductor shapes the voices as they take flight, embodying compassion and the hope of alleviating suffering through music. Ultimately, the piece tells of a new life through song, delicate and precious like a falling feather.

Wonderful performances!! 👍 I understood the meaning of the song very well from the singing. Sounds in tune and good intonation. Overall, sounds as good as or even better than other renditions of this song
