Flight Through the Dark Woods

Our lovely little Fairy Forager is picked out in a stream of fairy dust as she flies through the dark woods.
To create this wonderful setting, Tracey applied Elements ink directly onto the card using a swirling motion with a stencil brush. The foreground foliage was embellished with Wow! Embossing Powder, creating an illusion of depth to the scene. laviniastamps.com/video-page.

Beautiful, I love the way you "swirl" the ink with a brush, I have always done that with a sponge. I love the colors you use, and the techniques you use with such confidence and no mess. When I create a card or picture, I create a whole load of mess!

I can't work out which it is, and I've been through the tree, foliage and mini stamp sections several times. The tutorial only says mini foliage stamps, but I can't see one the same in that category. More beautiful work Tracy. On a general note, I used my new Versamark pad(black) to put Happy Birthday on a card but it came out smudged. I tried 2 more times but still got the same result. What am I doing wrong. Thank you❤

Hi 👋Is it a Versamark or Versafine Clair Black? I'd like to suggest the following: First you check that you're not adding too much ink to the stamp. Try stamping on a plain sheet of copier paper first to check the stamp. Also be careful not to press down too hard as this can cause slight smudging. Putting your card on top of a pad of copier paper to stamp helps for a better cleaner stamped image too. Hope this helps 😃Emma-Jo🧚‍♀️💙👓from Lavinia Stamps.
