Flight to Tzaneen Airport on a partly cloudy April day in 2022

The flight from FALA (Lanseria) to Tzaneen Airport (FATZ) took 1 hour 38 minutes and was largely uneventful, after a quick touch and go, we headed back to Lanseria to beat the weather which was coming in from the South West. The climb from 1900 feet to 6900 was just incredible on board the Cirrus SR20. In most other light planes, except those with STOL capabilities, we would have done a circling climb out of the valley to climb over the Wolksberg Area. We were 1000 feet over the ridge, with little wind at that point making this a safe experience, and beautiful too!
