This is a great thing if it will bring more folks into the hobby or help them stay. I don’t see the problem with this system.

Yes this is available on Spirit but requires the Geolink module and programming. This is a small package that includes everything you need. It's more geared towards novices or someone trying to advance their flying completely removing the fear of crashing. I particularly like the little heli-pad that is so convenient to have a home-base and a visual cue of the overall flight envelope as that will always be at its center. Just the Mikado way, make it simple. It even includes the pre-programmed bare bones VControl. This is a real-life sim with low cost. And if things do go wrong, how much will it cost to repair the little 200? My only "but" with this product is that likely it will very Mikado-expensive. If they could bring the price down to competitive levels, they would have a product they could not keep on the shelves for long and would benefit more people just getting into the hobby which is what I think they are trying to do. Remember that a recession is knocking on the door and a premium price for a hobby item may not be within the possibilities of an increasing number of people. But as it is, given the price of the 200 alone and the fact it comes with a VControl and the additional product development I imagine this will be around 1K USD.

Angles are reduced, so you can learn to hover...no more else.

@@p.r.5628 The video mentioned "will react depending on flight mode" when talking about what happens when reaching the "fence". So sounds like full 3D should be possible. I agree if that is not the case they are hindering their product and making it way less useful.

Rather put a Spirit FBL with Geolink on any heli.

Expecting that it might be cheaper than 2-3 real live crashes :-) Awesome! Better than a Sim

Mikado is turning into Apple. Presenting something that's available in the market for years as their own groundbreaking offering! Sad. They used to be leading the market up until 10 years ago. I'll keep my logos but that's it.

Spirit FBL anyone?

Wow! So Mikado managed to "invent" something that Spirit system already offers for like half a decade, and that for any size heli & just a portion of Mikado's price. What a milestone, Mikado...LOL
