Realize that Flightline Destroyed the best the world has that were brave enough to race him. After the BC win, no owner on earth wants their horse to be embarrassed by Flightline, that would cost them millions in breeding fees. Flightline's owners should let him defend his World Championship at least, but it would look like 1 of Secretariat's old races with only 4 horses entered in the race. Cowardice by the world, not by Flightline. He is the fastest distance horse since Secretariat and the numbers prove it.

No , he's retired now and would have been 5 years old , triple crown races are restricted to 3 year Olds... he was injured when his chance to run in the triple crown was there

I find it deeply unfair to withdraw such a champion after only 6 races to make money
