Regarding ESC calibration, do yourself a favor and do one at a time. Like this video perfectly demonstrates at 42:30 or so, since the batteries are necessarily plugged in with a few seconds in between, the ESCs will enter completely different programming steps by to the time you pull down the stick. If you want to avoid having to deal with the Yed throttle leads etc, you can do both at once, but the you either need someone to help plug the batteries in simultaneously, or use an XT60 Y-lead and a single battery (for this particular step only)

Hi, just got mine yesterday, by chance do you know if the wing ribbons that plug into the blue box can go in any of the two slots on bb? Or is each slot designated for left and right wing? Thanks and congrats on your bronco!

Ahoy James. Hope you are having a good evening. I just received my own OV-10 Bronco. I built a similar one a few years ago from a kit and detailed it like the Beaufort County SC , "Mosquito Control" Full Size Aircraft at the airport where I fly my Lake Amphibian Seaplane. Really want to thank you for the un-boxing and build video. This is #458 in my collection of R/C Aircraft and glad that you helped with the connections to the Blue Box and receiver. Interesting how this plane just blew up in popularity. First this smaller size now H9's beast. Rightfully so, its an underrated plane.

It has such a wide flight envelope that just caters to RC. Hard to get bored with her has you can fly her in numerous ways. I love that it is basically a scale high-wing cub. She's perfect for the windy days which usually ground most models.

Hey James, I got everything working and even the ESC's using my programing card that I did not know I even had. Of course, once I found that they were Hobby wing, not a problem. Thanks for the video and my comments were mostly frustration from not thinking things though and taking time to do so.

In the process of rebuilding mina after a crash, taking the opportunity to replace the motors and go to 6s. Will fly on a single 6s 4000mah pack

I had to laugh like hell when James speeds up the video at 18:59 or so while he jams all the wiring in after the Blue Box...myself I did it the other way joining fuse to wing before pulling a wiring through and plugging blue box pulled forward. Maybe my way is better because for sure your going to at least want to pull the battery tray with blue box out later for something!! Still laughing!!!

I finally got all working. Now for the calibration of the ESC's is next and think I have this one to. Is there a programming card for Flightline ESC's? Who is the manufacturer of Flightline's ESC's? Thanks much James.

I am listening for the beeps but not sure what beeps you pull the throttle down on. Just a line help please since I do not know which programming card to use with Flightline ESC's. thanks much.

Are you running the stability plus gyro in the "always on" mode? I noticed you plugged the landing gear into the gear port on the rx.

I always run the gyro in combo C on a switch so I can turn it on or off as needed and yes the gear was plugged into the gear port. Thanks for watching!

Instead of using two 4s pack for example: two 4s 4000mah. Could you make a Y harness and use one big 4s pack

How do you extract the wheels if nothing is connected yet?

You can't. You would want a servo tester which allows you to connect one servo/gear etc and move it without binding it up first.

Hi, new to this site and new to PNP vs BNF planes. I just recently purchased the OV-10 Bronco and having problems initializing the twin props. For some reason the throttle doesn't want to work all the surface controls and the retracts are working fine. I'm using the Spektrum AR630 and binds well but the throttle doesn't turn. I've watched all of the videos on how to assemble it but I can't figure it out why it's not working. If anyone can help please reply to this post. Thank you

Turn your throttle trim down. It thinks your stick is up.

I keep getting beeps after powering up and binding. The motors dont appear to run either

You need to calibrate your escs. Turn on transmitter, put the throttle stick to highest position, plug in the aircraft, wait for the first set of beeps, then bring throttle stick to bottom position. ESC's should then arm regularly. (do this with props off for safety
