Lol just read an article where Reb says that he accidentally showed up an hour late to record the soundtrack for this game so the Japanese producers already had a bad taste in their mouth and he also said that he hated the music they wanted him to play over and they called this performance acceptable atleast lol.. Unbelievable because Reb absolutely shreds the shit outta this song

The track itself was inspired by Walt Disney's Magic Kingdom or Universal Studios Orlando since Nagoshi and his team take a tour in Florida where they also watched the Daytona 500 in Daytona International Speedway where the game is heavily inspired.

Master pieces, this very track migh have been the very best arcade racing experience ever released. The announcer, the song, the animation in the track, the Dreamcast advertising logo in the last curve, everything was there! Gosh even the track selection bgm before it was fucking hyping what was about to go on! Shame this was not re released yet!

This song reminds me of "The Posies - I Guess You're Right" (one of Windows Vista's sample songs), although this song was produced and released in 1998 whereas the aforementioned song produced by The Poises was released in 2005. I wonder what the inspiration was for both songs?
