Im 14 and I had this idea when I was 10 that I want to be a pilot because of fsx. I still would Love to fly but i was diagnosed with diabetes so thats it. I still wish I could someday fly In the cockpit.

Joo o Hey Bud, Let me say to you never give up! Diabetes isn’t a problem with regards to become an airline pilot although I highly recommend you speak to an aviation examiner/doctor. Wish you all the best in your future pilot career only 3 and half years until you can apply for a course well in the UK. 😀

I used to play this with my pilot dad as a kid and I always crashed and laughed it off, and he'd try and teach me how to fly it properly. I never cared that much but as I grew older, I realised I'd always loved planes. Now I have my fighter license and I'm an air force reservist who can fly a CF-188 Hornet. Additionally, I'm the senior manager of an aircraft parts company. Needless to say, my dad is very proud of me.

I started with FS2004 when I was 7 years old, now I am 19 and I am PPL + NR pilot on my way to ATPL. This song reminds me of getting my FSX on christmas and then realising that my PC was too week to properly run it. Good old days. Flight Simulator started my pilot career!

This will, forever and after, be that one simulator, that no one shall ever forget. Crazy how i heard this song for hours playing in the background from my computer, where i left FSX open. 10 years later, Im a real world pilot. Thanks FSX, X-plane11 and FS2020 for so many hours of practice and training, the fruits of that labor really showed its reward in the moment of flying an actual aircraft.

I remember this game! It was the first PC game I EVER played! I spent hours playing it and my dad also did the same! But last time I attempted to run the game on my old Windows 7 PC it was buggy and sadly it wouldn't work. I actually learned a lot over the years from simulators, videos, and books. But if you don't have a high score in the exam and you don't have a lot of money, no one can see what you want. It's very sad, maybe how many aviation lovers broke off from their love for these reasons. My biggest dream for as long as I can remember myself was to be a pilot. I'm 22 years old, I guess I won't be. Actually, it's not too late for anything, I can still be a pilot, even if I can't, I can be in aviation. In 10 years, maybe I can write here I am a pilot :)
