I didn't expect a video to come out of this icy campaign, but I respect that you still made one for this rather unorthodox campaign! Although there was less competition, it was still really fun to participate in battling for some world records with Micka and others, (only for my records to be destroyed by seconds by the end of the campaign lol) so thanks to Roevhaal and Henk for creating the icy campaign this season. Also shoutout to Yoonte, who not only was able to claim some world records off of Micka, but for also engaging in exciting, continuous back and forths for WR with him on multiple maps (as oppose to me who just hunted a map like once and was pretty much done with it for the rest of the campaign). Definitely a player you should all look out for in the future.

Micka is so good at conserving speed for the entire map instead of just parts of it. He is usually behind people for most of the map but by the end he is able to pass them. Excited for the prize pool to come back, people tried this hard for no prize, its gonna be so sick this time. Also no need for a haircut.

Micka also seems to like to not destroy people if they want to compete with him. At least thats how it feels to me every time I play against him. He always waits for people to beat his record before taking it right back

@@jake_tm Micka and Yoonte had actually battled on this map and took the WR off each other like 8 times on this map, both were doing the wiggle in all their records. The reason why Micka didn't wiggle on his final run was because of how far left he landed after the big jump, and that time he spent repositioning himself allowed Yoonte to overtake in the end, as he landed better and started the wiggles earlier.

I wonder if 22 would have been possible without that extra booster for the big jump. I know the Grass version of the map didn't have that, and it required a reroute, but the reroute was possible (though it required some upside-down reactor flying).

Ngl, I’ve had severe insomnia for the majority of my life. Going to sleep is something that I dread, as it means hours of laying in bed unable to keep my eyes closed as my brain refuses to shut down. Not only do I love your videos while not trying to sleep, but flinks voice is so relaxing and calm that watching ice campaigns is one of the few things that actually helps me pass out. Flink had mentioned last season that they were not going to be able to help make the maps or make the accompanied videos or put together a prize pool. This is because of some life stuff - I believe they were moving.

I disagree with this opinion for most maps. It would be understandable for 13 and possibly the other “ice” maps since a goal each icy season is to make each map feel different to how they do in the official campaign, but another goal is to also keep the maps nearly the same otherwise. For the maps that don’t use reactor specifically over ice for most of the cut, those reactor sections are going to feel quite a bit different.
