I genuinely really like this game, it looks great. While it isn't cotw or classic, it is it's own thing and I think it rocks it's own style. I just kinda wish they'd patch up some of the models. Other than that, I can see this becoming one of the games I play a lot.

@@reverzstar796 you shoot a little deer clean in the heart with anything less than a .50 cal and you have to follow a slow blood trail for over a mile. Having hunted deer with a .243 for years, I can confirm that that isn't even mildly realistic.

Now that I saw you have some further gameplay, the game looks a lot better to me. I just started playing COTW and am enjoying it, but I feel the lack of needing tags and such makes it hard to feel like you have purpose when you're out in the field. it is much better than the previous, that is clear, but animal walking animation are still not realistic: they look robotic and the fronts legs kind of unnaturally curved: you can see that specially clear on the mule deer in this video. If they improve that specific point, I think it will be a good game.

Sights look strange and there is no " oumph" to the guns. No recoil or anything to give you the feeling that the gun is packin some but the enviorment looks top notch johnson however the animals doesnt. They kinda dont fit in the scenery. they look very 2007ish graphical limitations/ai.

I find it odd that they don't have a spine shot option. I also think they can improve the game with the animal selection with the different regions. For instance bighorn sheep do not live on the prairie and Roosevelt elk do not live in Colorado. They live on the coastal region of Oregon and Washington. I really like it that they have name brand gear like Kryptec, Browning, ect. I know it costs money to get the licensing for the name but it's cool to see the possibilities.

I was noticing on that deer you spooked up and shot that the first shot produced a white hit marker and the second shot produced a red hit marker. I'd bet money that red hat marker was a vital shot as it looked much better placed than The shot that caused the white hit marker.

the way to tell if an animal is fatally wounded or not is by the hitmaker that appears around the crosshairs after you shoot something. if it is red, it is a fatal shot. if it is white, it is not a fatal hit.

The game is not bad, but it needs some adjustments, things like the animation of the animals to flee or to be hit, in addition the graphics of the animals is the same as their first game, this discourages a little. They have a future if they deal with those details.

Deer, in real life, when shot will do what we call “mule kick”. This happens about 75% of the time with a gun. (The rest of the time they just run off tail tucked). With a bow, they rarely kick. They just turn and run. This game is more realistic than COTW in that point. I have zero idea where COTW got the idea to make the animals do what they do, but it’s hilariously bad. 😂

seems like it could be good, i think the difficulty of finding animals is a much better representation of hunting, but whether thats fun or not is another story, more rewarding im sure. other than that though, the animations, zooming in, multiple other things, just look dated or robotic...also, no multiplayer literally kills the game for like 80% of the ppl that play COTW, hunting with friends or even randoms is the best.

I was really excited for this game, but the more gameplay I see of it now the more I dislike it. I was hoping it would give COTW some competition so they would be motivated to fix the bugs, but there's just no competition at all. The graphics look better in this one, but from playing the first one I have to say I think this one will be less fun. Having to go back and buy a license in a game is just stupid. I don't want to spend 90% of the in game time prepping in a house and 10% actually hunting.

Hi, it's weird but, this game give me more satisfaction when I shoot an animal than call of the wild, cause it's more harder to find a target in this game , the weapon song? Yes it's different, but not shocking me cause, Even my famas didn't make as much noise and did not have as much recoil as in Call of the wild, maybe cause it was a 5.56 otan caliber.
