I don’t usually watch 1 + hour interview videos but Keith Elwin designed my 3-4 favorite pinballs. I wanted a Jurassic Park but then, I played Godzilla so I now have a Godzilla. Still love Jurassic park but the next I wanted is Jaws and with the new modes they put in, it just makes it even better. I’m excited that they may eventually add a coop mode to Godzilla and can’t wait to see what his next game will be. Great interview.

Keith’s games are so good due to this ownership he takes and vision he has for the combination of layout and rules. You can argue they are ‘too deep’ but I think he basically holds top 4 spots for best pinball rules ever devised between GZ, JP, Jaws, and IM. Not to discount the shots and layout but the code carries those games.

I’ll die on the hill saying that Jaws is Kieth’s masterpiece. Godzilla is #2, obviously, but Jaws is just insane. The more the code updates, literally the better it gets.

Nice interview. I love the unique modes like limited flips in Godzilla terror if mechagodzilla, and also progression towards a shark. I would have asked him about airballs in the chum line. Do you know about the Karl Easter egg? One of the settings is shark encounter difficulty: easy med hard very hard and Karl.

EHOH is a classic example of "every mode chasing arrows". After waiting so long for it, i tried for a year and half to love the machine, but just couldnt find the "fun" in it. Nearly every mode just feels the same... ie boring.
