Hm... Honestly, a Jurassic Park Game that has the movie aesthetic but follows the story from the books would be bloody brilliant. It would explain the overabundance of animals since the breeding was much more extreme in the books than it was in the movie.

Again, great level design. JP would probably make for a great alien isolation style game where you have to outsmart the animals based on behavioral rules. Could have mechanics like the flare, the electric fences, night vision, door locks, scent (being upwind etc…), animal tracks in mud, really limitless. Less of a first person shooter and more of a true survival horror…

The devs saying there’s a rogue pack of raptors unaccounted for to explain the amount of raptors actually sounds like a nod to the novels and how the raptors were breeding in the lava caves under the island

@@TonySpike Stop being an apologist that's not true. They maintain the IP through making Jurassic World movies. Moreover, it's unethical to begin with and I don't care about Universals profits or "rights" they have ruined the series. Copyright should be capped at 20 years max. All the artists who have been targeted should leak their builds in 5 years quietly when everything dies down. Or even decades if they have to.

A nice little recreation of the setting. Complete with raptors. 19:48 Wow that's spooky... The darkness, the occasional raptor slinking around, the creepy music..... So terrifying. Especially with no health. Not getting any health in the maintenance shed/bunker is rough. Especially waiting for that raptor by the breakers. But yeah, the bit with the breakers is very, very cool. First finding the blood, and the body, and then the breakers, and that little spot where the raptor appears.... Plus the lever and all the buttons.... Very nice little touches.

This could be going around the book version of jurassic park as have read it and muldoon does survive in the book and was looking at to why the film had him killed off and it was the actor who suggested it as was battling cancer at the time of filming jurassic park which gave us the "clever girl" line

In the film, doesn't Muldoon say that they bred eight Raptors originally, then when the Big One came in she "killed all but two of the others" (making Nine in total - eight, then the Big One)? If you go by my head canon that the Big One did *not* kill them and the Raptors faked it to get the other Raptors out of the enclosure to secure the island, like some sort of Stealthy Ninja Raptor Hit Squad, it works...and is absolutely hilarious because I can imagine a Gangster Raptor from the 1950s with a bowler hat and a cigar, behind a computer screen, talking like the stereotypical "Ah, now, see here, wise guy," sort of gangster, giving orders to the other Raptors. 5:22 - 5:26: That's what you get for going off the beaten path to squee over the dinosaur rather than going on, eh? And while that is Arnold, I don't think they're white - I think it's Arnold's *shirt*.

Marlin 1895 SBL, chambered in 45-70 Government ( aka, big damn bullet ). It had a limited production for that particular model. Managed to get my hands on one, plus a scope made by the same company that made the one in the movie ( that exact model was out of production and expensive to get ). This thing could probably put down a charging bull Rex 😆 🤣 😂

Problem with most games is there's two versions of spas, pump and semi-auto. Semi would be better for Raptor speed.

the issue with this game is that hammond wouldn't allow any weapons in the park (in the book - except like 1 rocket launcher) or very few (in the film) as he didnt want any dinos hurt and yet here he doesn't care about loading up with a whole armoury. bit off.

Honestly, if the mod was realistic you could kill a raptor in one shot from the SPAS-12 from like 50 meters or so very easily. People always heavily underestimate shotguns. Also, I'm so glad that this era of BestInSlot is back. I've watched this channel for almost 10 years now and I've gotten very sick of all the JWE videos. Hopefully this streak of new content will continue for a long time.
