Flip The Script - Davina Earl

A chat with Davina Earl before she gave a masterclass for the SharpFutures / Sky Studios / ScreenSkills 'Flip The Script' course.
Davina is a Head of Development and Script Executive in TV drama, currently working as a Script Consultant for ITV Studios. Her career has spanned drama, comedy and continuing drama for a variety of companies and broadcasters.
Most recently, Davina headed development for Red Production Company, working with prolific writers and newer talent, originating and pitching ideas and managing the script team across development and production. Davina joined Red as a script editor and worked on productions such as Safe (Netflix) and Come Home (BBC One).
Before this she worked as a script editor and assistant producer for BBC drama and Lime Pictures on series such as In The Flesh, In The Dark and Hollyoaks. Prior to this Davina worked for BBC Comedy Commissioning and was a coordinator for BBC Writers Room. She started her career at the BBC as a script editor and online producer for BBC Comedy Production.
Before this Davina worked in music journalism and edited websites for Channel 4 online.
