This is the cutest journal. You did a great job. I'm 75 & still take shorthand. I was a paralegal (well just a legal secretary at first) for 48 & then worked as our church secretary & still used shorthand until I retired this year. I try to keep up with it. I love it. Kids think its a foreign language!! Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

When I was little my mom wouldn't put name tags on our Christmas presents until the morning, but on the back of them our names in shorthand. It worked until I asked on of her co-workers to pen my name in shorthand. A few yrs ago in thrift store I bought a Gregg's dictionary & classroom workbook; both hardback! 📖✒️

Cat, another pretty journal! 🦋Where do you find all your cute birdies, flowers, and that bee covered seed packet🐝🌱? The blue heron looks like a painting, but you said a children's book? Which one?

Thanks, Miriam! I get a lot of my images from outdated planners and page-a-day calendars. I’ve had a lot of my bits and pieces for a long time, so I don’t remember which book I got that heron from - so sorry. The wildflower seed packet was given to me as part of a gift, and after the seeds were planted, I saved it for use in a journal. 😊
