I would think especially your rye grass will come back Yes, if your rye grass gets snowed on and then the temperature quickly rises to around 50 degrees Fahrenheit, it is very likely to come back and start growing again; the snow acts as a protective layer, allowing the grass to survive the cold temperatures and resume growth

What’s really crazy is that ALL of South Louisiana got anywhere from 4-9” of snow with temps as low as 4*!!! We live 23 mi South of Baton Rouge and we have 8” on the ground. It’s beautiful but I live in the South for this very reason. Schools have been out all week and we haven’t been at work. The interstates are closed, roads are closed, WalMart is closed. Tonight is 15* and the weekend is in the 60’s! Mother Nature is psycho.
