obviously the ending was no surprise. you can't win with speed alone just like you can't win with brute strength alone. X has many optional tactics sonic doesn't have that many. limitless potential is a lot. so X is the name and reputation he lives up to.

It wouldn't Matter tho sonic should have won he is invincible in hyper and super sonic forms that blast wouldn't have done anything to sonic just like goku vs superman that kamehameha did not hurt superman because he was basically a god

Jason Falcon so is X. They don't call him X for no reason. Basically X can surpass any threat because he shows no absolute breaking point. He'll continue to get stronger eventually out power or out durate his opponent. Super sonic has a time limit but X doesn't. His name is based off of a variable.

You know, although I'm a bigger fan of Sonic than Megaman, Megaman would beat Sonic since in X4, X5 and X6, he got the Ultimate Armour which allowed him to do infinite Giga Attack and from Sonic, he got Super Sonic from Sonic 2, however, he would lose Super Sonic if his rings ran out. Therefore, X can keep using the Giga Attack until Sonic loses all his rings by staying Super and then X can giga attack him again which will cause him to lose.

Mega man x won by a lot of means and his limitless potential can if not will defeat any foe even still x has more durability, power, mobility, Abel to adapt to any situation, and is smarter than sonic that is why x beat sonic sonic needs caose emeralds to Mach up with x and super sonic doesn't have any invenceability he just got more powerful and can fly that is it. Besides sonic only has speed and tithing else so x wins.

To me Sonic would have won but for some reason the author likes X more I guess. Because when Sonic went Super Sonic, that means he is invulnerable, the only thing that would defeat him is if he ran out of rings and X got him right after that or he squashes him with something, SS's only weakness is being squashed or being out of the screen.

Megaman X and sonic I like them a lot, but I knew or something said that he was winning Megaman X. Good animation, it's 2010 , but still, you have a new submarine

Sonic could have won if he had turned hyper or dark sonic. Plus when super or hyper he can't be harmed by anything except if he gets squished or off screen. If he had really lost it would have been because he ran out of rings & died.

I still find it dumb that sonic lost this. Even without his super forms sonic can outrun a black hole. That alone makes it clear that Sonics body is able to move at the speed of light, and withstand extreme forces far beyond what that of x could do. Even with the limitless potential, x simply doesn’t have the means to put sonic down. And super sonic can fly, is invulnerable to any form of attack, and can go toe to toe with Gods. Then hyper sonic which is faster than comprehension, can kill all enemy’s by simply jumping causing a thunder clap, absorbs any rings close and is to powerful to measure. Even with Xs immense power... going against hyper sonic would be complete suicide. The whole limitless potential bullshit doesn’t make x invincible, he can still die to those with enough power like vile or sigma. He sure as hell isn’t invulnerable like Sonics super forms and would die very quickly. However, despite all that this is a well made animation and I did enjoy it when I first viewed it all those years ago.
