Zach, if you can, we need more of these videos especially with more obscure games that we can’t demo in a local arcade like Alien, TCM, ETC.

Nice. Got to see the LE (didn’t get to play it as it was down unfortunately) in person at the NW Pinball Show in Tacoma WA in June and played the standard. The artwork on the LE is something to behold! Great video. Would love to see a TCM video just like this as well😎

Looks great but sound needs turning up a lot . I just can’t hear the call-outs and stuff over you and the mechanical sounds . You and the videos are awesome by the way

Thank you for the feedback and I agree that maybe having a portion turned up, maybe during one ball, would have helped the viewer experience the game sound better.

Dang looks awsome, what camera are you using to record the playfield?? I'm trying to make my pin streams look like this haha 😊
@FlipNOutPinball5 ай бұрын
awww thanks Vic! Sadly I do not know of any way to get the video like this from a stream which is a major reason that I do not preload everything into OBS (or similar software) to record the gameplay. That is because recording on OBS (for me anyway) does not provide a 4k60fps output. Thus, I could never find a way to maintain that quality, so I have to record all video outputs (playfield, player cam, and direct video capture from the game lcd) separately, then layer them all together in editing. It's a pretty arduous process, and is why I could never be a great streamer because I get hung up on details such as this hahaha. The playfield cam is a BlackMagic 6K Cinema Camera recording down to 4K/60. The player cam is a Canon 90D recording at 4K/30.

Where was the stuck ball?
@FlipNOutPinball5 ай бұрын
I noticed in post that during one of the multiballs there was a stuck ball in the upper left lock area. Watching back, a shot to a different ball up in there bumped the stuck ball enough to free itself from not rolling down.

I wonder buy a used one for 5k or 10k for a new one. It’s kinda like when you buy a car once ya off the lot it loses 10% to 20%. These new machines are lighter and better tech. At the end of the day the feel of the weight and feel of the old machines are pure nostalgia.

@@ginobozzi3954 ah well yeah that's a different game. It's like saying that a 1990 Corvette with 150k miles is cheaper than a new Corvette. Kind of tough to compare because they are different in many ways.
@ginobozzi39545 ай бұрын
@@FlipNOutPinball I hear you. I’m in the automotive industry & I rather have a 1990. Actually I have a 1986 vette with 10k miles and I wouldn’t trade it for a new one. What people don’t understand is the semiconductors and parts in these newer cars will not be available or not economically worth fixing and up end being throw away cars. See it in my shop everyday. The aftermarket is not supporting a lot of the newer vehicles anymore. Dealer only parts, then it’s on backordered like forever. Probably gonna be the same for pinball one day when these companies go out of business. Just my opinion. We been in a boom period for the last decade I do hope it lasts, but I wouldn’t count on it. I think these pinball machines are way too high, old and new. I been collecting for ten years and got about 10 pins. I’m Italian and it’s cool to see a pin made there. I just hope they support it with parts in the long term.

That’s a bummer, I already feel like the modern Stern could use another 20-40 lbs but I’m “rough on the machines” when I play. Does anyone think the new art package is attractive? Seems sacrilegious to redo the awesome original Youssi artwork. My assumption is they will maybe sell 500-1000 games, I hope this project doesn’t sink their ship and that all the people who ordered them receive them!
