Nice video. It just goes to show what you can do to what most people think is a scrapper. A bit of work can give good results. I've got a 20 year old Corsa and it's really good for it's age. It was 19 years old when I bought it and she had just 11,000 miles on the clock. One elderly lady owner. Full service history mostly done by a main dealer. She's only got 21,000 on her now.

Great job! Leaving the wheels black and doing without a new set of wheel trims is a good idea. Will be a great little runaround for someone. The first thing I did with my last car - a 1994 Escort diesel - was to Frisbee the cracked trims straight into the bin.

That car could be a hipsters wet dream. I had a 3 door ‘R’ reg one in white years ago. Fun cars to drive. The value in good quality Nova’s these days and I think these old Corsas could start creeping up in value a little bit soon. Not as iconic as the old Novas but still a decent relatively rare car in a funky early 2000’s colour.

There are some cracking pieces of scrap going on the car market atm. I brought a 21 year old vauxhall omega with 145k for 400 quid to last me a year and im still driving it 3 years later now at 162k, hammers its mot's with no advisories, drives good and even has working luxuries like air con, heated seats. Treated it to a new timing belt and water pump, and changed the auto trans fluid & filter lol

It's really great to see an old car saved. We need more of this philosophy instead of its old just bin it attitude. I drive a 2006 Audi A6 and have no plans of getting rid of it for years. Lowest heat setting and keep it moving around the plastic so you don't burn it.

Higher mileage cars is all about paperwork, clutchs,cambelts,full History, hard to find a good Higher mileage with good margin

You should definitely take them off for bestresults. These are steals so not an issueany paint on front disc will rub off with a bit of braking,. Rear is drums so not an issue.

No I sanded it, rust treated I just never had this mint green so I put some metallic green of a 2016 insignia I had lying around. It sold for 350 carnt complain for that money. I even fitted a Sony stereo with Bluetooth and aux/USB . So in all in my opinion its a win.
