The only thing I'm wishing for is for Daddy to get back to his old self. He suffered from a massive stroke on February 26th, 2013. Before he had a stroke, he used to sing songs, read Bible stories to me and my little brothers, take us to fun places, go on business trips, and preach church. Now, he lives in the local nursing home. And for the Christmas tree question, I don't have a Christmas tree because I don't celebrate Christmas. I did have a huge evergreen tree in my backyard, though. It was uprooted by strong winds and heavy rain on January 9th, 2024. When I was a little girl, I believed that the tree was magical.

I'm allergic to pine unfortunately. So mine is artificial and has been in my family since 1972. I've had it since 1985 and it's still beautiful. And all my ornaments have been collected since 1985. Can't wait to put it up on Dec 1st
