We're having fun out here! I wouldn't choose to do that challenge, but have done a mid-only or putter-only challenge, which is kinda revealing for an amateur, I recognize I could do many shorter, technical courses with only one slow disc, and that taught me something valuable. Your challenge taught me something too - don't take an understable disc out for a solo run on a technical track!

Unstable disc flight is difficult to control and predict. Mastering is a challenging and touchy learning process.

I have a Nuke SS that “flys” similar to that Avenger. It’s only useful for rollers,but I don’t bag it,because I don’t really throw rollers.

I don’t quite understand why pros don’t ever throw the tomahawk with a very flippy disc as a get out of jail shot. You can get it to take interesting lines and even do a barrel-roll/corkscrew that ends up going essentially straight. Soft it for a shot that pans a little right. Or lay it down on its lid for something that flair skips or even just slides straight. Because you are releasing it overhead, it opens up a bunch of airspace that isn’t available otherwise. ETA: That tee shot on 9, where you are just trying to get over the creek would likely shape up well for that kind of tomahawk.

Furst I'm wondering what would happen if you put more hyzer on that GOoJF disc. Like almost vertical on the release. I used to have a beat in mango colored Mamba that was really flippy. I lost it in the blackberry bushes that eat some my favorite discs when in Oregon.
