Another excellent use of scrap paper! I too have that Tim Holtz paper (with the small squares) and didn't know what to do with it. Now I know! I love the way you start with an idea and run with it. That's how I usually work myself. Many thanks again for sharing! I'm loving these "tip" videos!

Oh Cori! You cracked me up! “Then Gayle messed it up!” 😂. Wish I had a nickel for every time I’m heard that in my life! 😂. Absolutely LOVE the Tim Holtz pocket! What a great use for those little squares! I’ve always struggled with what to do with them too! And, btw, I have that exacto knife too and constantly push the close button...what a goofy design! Great video, my friend!!! ❤️

I was hoping you’d understand my intent with that blaming you business 😊 I have to admit, I was absurdly pleased to finally make something I like with that darn paper. It’s beautiful, but challenging. So glad you enjoyed the video. You give so much that it’s nice to be able to give a tiny bit back to you.

I like this project. Great way to use my Tim Holtz paper with the small squares. On the reverse side, I wondered why you kept cutting off the squares. Why not leave them attached to just be hidden journaling spots with doors that open left to right? And when you pronounced segued, I had to go look it up and learned it is an Italian word. I keep hearing people pronounce it segWAY. Now I wonder which is correct, but since you are the teacher...: ;-)
@CoriDahmen3 жыл бұрын
LOL! Just a different option. Funny story about "segue". I first understood it in high school (80's). No talking dictionaries and no Internet to correct pronunciation. Two of our teachers had a HUGE debate about the correct way to say it. Old school said "seg-u". Because, when two vowels go walking (the ue at the end), the first one does the talking. The younger teacher used the dictionary to verify her belief that the word is another rule-breaker and is pronounced "seq-way". I sometimes fall back to old habits... and I have to remind myself that "melancholy" is NOT pronounced "mel-onch-oly" and that "paradigm" is NOT "pair-a-dig-em"

Dry line tape is double sided, extra sticky tape (like redline or Scor tape). It’s called different things, but dry line is one of them. So happy I keep you guessing and asking 😊

I love the idea but kept waiting, waiting, waiting for some sample measurements....they would have made an immense difference in following/creating a project. Perhaps you would do that next time please and thank you. TFS!
@CoriDahmen3 жыл бұрын
I’m sorry! Most of these are not size specific, and can easily be adapted to any size album need, hence the lack of measurements posted. If something needs to be a certain size (such as when using a 6” x 6” or 12” x 12” sheet) I try to share and post the measurements. Glad you enjoyed the idea and I’ll look later to see exactly where the cuts and creases are for this one 💕

Hello! At the beginning of the video I mention both Sue at Paper Inspirations and Gayle, who both created something similar, though not the same, to what I made though I’d not seen the item I ended up with before I made it, I also shared that it could easily be out there in the paper fold world. My apologies if that wasn’t clear.
