I think you should glue a bead at the end of each string. A bead that can't slip through the hole punched. It would look cute dangling on the edge of the book! Too cute! Lived the video just as much as the thumb nail!

Treasure Books - ❤️ Or since it’s a sewing album they sell those little mini spools in the wood department at the Craft store! I think even on Amazon just look up Wooden sewing spools! you just wrap a little bit of colored string around it - it has a hole through the center so you can add it to your string and put a small bead at the end to keep it from falling off then make a knot!❤️

Oh my. What can I say? Just lovely. I woke up early this morning before alarm went off, soooo got my coffee and watched this vid. I love how you brought everything together. I love your videos and especially how you explain things to where everything looks and sounds so doable. More than anything else I have to thank you for showing the last clip of reality! Also, I am new to the journal making world, and I wanted to say to you, that it's very inspiring to see you as an artist a true artist making these beautiful Treasure books.. you use your imagination, and DONT USE PRINTABLES! I don't use them, I don't want to either.. I feel it isn't art..

I crafted along with you on this one... (Unfortunately, I used one sided paper and it didn't look nearly as nice.) However, I loved the idea and will be adding this to my little books! Thank you for this tutorial and for the free sentiments! *HUGS*

My favourite bit of the tutorial was "I'm thinking... What am I thinking?" 😉 😃 I love watching and listening to you, Natasa, your videos are great companion when I craft myself. Sometimes KZbin plays some clip for the second time and I (usually in the middle of glueing or painting something) are like," oh, that's okay. I'll watch it again" 😃🎨💙

I love your little journal and what fun is it if you don't make a mess. I have some more of your videos on my watch later list. I am subscribed to so many people I have to really make sure I can learn or gain from videos before I subscribe. I have had to Unsubscribe from a few people because they are hard to keep up with.

Absolutely awesome! I bet that you could tie those strings so they don't pull through, then cut in the middle and have two pieces that tie together couldn't you!? However you do it I know it will look great! Thanks for sharing your ideas with us!

when you were trying to figure out how the circle on the triangle flap could be useful, I immediately thought of securing it with an eyelet in the middle and wrapping some floss of several colors around it.

also, to tie the triangles, how about a string tied onto each hole separately that can be tied together? By the way, totally in awe of your cleverness at thinking these things up and the quality of your work.

Clever. Perhaps instead of the string closure, use two 1 inch cut out circles (with brads and tiny spacers) where you just wrap the string around a couple of times. Wendy's Journal channel uses that type of closure at times.
