Such a nostalgic part for me. Mark is still one of my favorite skaters and this video will be a classic to me despite most of the soundtrack being garbage lol. Miss this era of skating. Skateboarding had a big following then but it wasn't mainstream yet and made out to look like a sport like it is today. The culture was so different and genuine then. 😪

So stoked on seeing him rip my local skatepark Beasley in Hamilton at 1:17 and 4:29 !!! They redesigned the park now but that quarter pipe still stands as does the bowl he launches out of. Soon the bowl will be re-surfaced though (too historic to destroy.) Growing up in Burlington some friends bumped into his parents and they gave them Flip stickers. He's got legendary status here for sure! Used to watch this part in my neighbours basement...good times!
