Does the hikmicro also have different colour palettes? And also does it need a similar cloud account to upload videos? Thanks

Yes, it has many different color palettes and no account is needed for getting the pics/videos, just mobile app and wi-fi connection

Not a fair comparison. The Hikmicro Pocket 2 is 2x the price of the FLIR-1 Pro. An equivalent comparison would be the HIKMICRO Mini Smartphone Module.

It's fair with flir C5 witch is cost more than the pocket 2 but the flir one is just for the contractors who think flir one is enough to do the job
