FLIR E4 Thermal Camera Review With Custom Firmware

Hello, when did you unlocked the camera? Are the new versions of firmware still hackable?

So, the TLDR is basically that it has more to do with the calibration date of the device and date of manufacturing as FLIR attempted to mitigate this upgrade. There has been success stories on newer firmwares, but it's a grey area. Unless you know the date code of your device, you may be in luck, as many of even the newly purchased E4's online are relatively old as far as calibration/firmware is concerned.
