A bit of a tragedy that you guys could not get your focusing right. Still, thanks for the video. I do have a question, can you set this up so the images are immediately transferred over Wi-Fi to your mobile device? Or do you have to do it manually? Thanks!

Thank you. I've been searching, watching and reading everything I can find trying to compare the E8 to the E95 to see which is best for our purposes. Your two videos were a huge help. We monitor motors, bearings, electrical panels and provide roof inspections for one client and I'm thinking the E8 is a good fit for us. The resolution seems very respectable. Can you suggest who we should buy our unit from? We're in Canada.

Hi Jerry - thanks for the kind words! If you shoot me an email at [e-mail], I'd be glad to put you in touch with a Canadian distributor. You may even want to look at the E75 - it has many of the same functions/features as the E95, with the same resolution as the E8, and a more modern feel. I think you'd be much happier with the E75. With that being said, the E8 is a very simple camera with great resolution. Thanks again, Jerry!

@@randomrazr buy a modified E4 on eBay. They put the E8 firmware on it, and you get the E8 specs. The hardware is the same, just different software. I just got mine today and trying to learn more about it.

@@RichardsWorld its kinda sad the e4 and the e8 are the same, jsut the software handicaps the e4 unless u pay bigger bucks for it. dammmm . how are u liking it. can u view a house and see where heat is leaking in the winter? thats kinda my use

Hi Farrokh - I would recommend getting the most resolution you can afford. The E8 is probably the best-suited for that.

Yes, you can. You will need to connect it with the USB cable to a PC and run a FLIR software (i.e. FLIR Tools, Thermal Studio, etc) and go to "Live" Mode to stream.

Yes. It should be any micro-USB connection.

Hi Ronald - the bright yellow tells us only that is “appears” hotter than the other connections. It is up to the user to decide the severity of the issue. The color doesn’t tell as much of the story as the true temperature reading in comparison to other components. For example, if I stand in front of a campfire, my face will appear is if I’m frozen because relative the surrounding temperatures, I’m very cold. The color tells more about relative differences. Many times this indicates a problem though because in theory, these three components in the video should be almost identical.
