I am shocked that the tricopter carried the weight. Now, I am absolutely convinced that mine will fly (if I EVER finish it). Great job, David. I am a believer.

I commend you for showing the crash, which you could easily have cut. Crashing is part of the hobby. Too many "perfect" FPV/RC videos on here discourage and frustrate people. Thank you.

I think I see you have an issue with some of the commercial aspect of this.. But here are some of the facts.. There are a lot of guys that just happen across this hobby and have no idea where to start or what is even going on.. This group gives a great perspective of the sport to this group and frankly, I would rather spend my money with guys like this than some commercial conglomerate of mega retailers with no one on one relationship with viewers.. I vote +1 for guys that love their work.

Hey guys! i think i've just about watched every episode. very well done and the chemistry of the crew is great! I have a question about quads or a tri copter. My question is what is the smallest scale you could build one to do fpv. In my mind i am thinking something smaller than the Walkera QR Ladybird FPV would be possible and even improved upon. thanks in advance guys and thanks for all the great videos!

Was David's Tricoptor hand-built by him? If so, you really should do a build video! That is a great photo/video platform!
@BluSky112 жыл бұрын
2kg+ cheap plastic props have tracking issues. the blades start to wobble from the weight you lucked out normally when that happens the prop brakes mid air for that much weight you need xoar or graupner props The simple version is at 8:21 the back prop is not strong enough to hold the weight of that camera. its pitch gives. it looked like an 8x4.5 it bent to a 8x0 because the prop bent backwards the weight fliped it backwards.

When you cut an intro (first 26 seconds), keep the eyescan in mind. Right now it's very unpleasing to look at with the fast cuts. Pick the shots in a way the eye doen't need to travel much from cut to cut.

Cool. Very novel. But here's my question. I am now very familiar with Insta-Morph. It has amazing properties. It is easily molded by the average hobbyist, it is also fairly light and has an incredible stress-strain curve. Somewhat on par with nylon. However, I noticed David COMPLETELY wrap and encircle the FPV cam lens with it. IM needs to be heated to a MINIMUM of around 125-130F to become pliable enough to be manipulated. How will David remove the IM without damaging the cam?
