I'm so glad you're watching different movies with your Mom. I used to do that as well. She was a good sport. Haven't been able to for 23 years, so please continue to invest in y'all's quality time. It is so important.

Damn I should have recorded my mom's reaction she about passed out from laughter. Her comments throughout the movie were interesting too. Dale trying to serve Allison food she said "Come on honey, he's really trying."

Maybe the definition of a sleeper hit in the streaming age? No one saw it before netflix, which is some kind of marketing fail because everyone who does watch it loves it

Love this movie and have for years! I think I first saw it in 2013 or 14, and have made all my closest friends watch it. Also, there’s a group of young adults sharing a home across the street from me that we refer to as “the college kids” and I can’t see one of them without internally shouting, “we got yer friend!”

The thing that took me 13 years to realize is that Tucker's new vacation home actually belonged to Chad's father, and Chad was right that it was a place of evil.

The guy who plays Chad (his name's Jesse Moss) has a similar but minor role in Ginger Snaps. It's a brilliant movie that everyone should see. It's about a pair of weirdo sisters who have to deal with the unexpected complexities of one of them getting attacked by a werewolf. Highly recommended.

Ginger Snaps is a great werewolf movie. Love Mimi Rogers as the mom. Jesse was also in Final Destination 3, the one with the roller-coaster

One of the funniest comedy horror movies ever made! There were talks of a Sequel but it was cancelled due to lack of interest from the cast in 2017.

As much as I'd love to see that, it really doesn't need a sequel.

@@Flix2Us I agree. I don't understand why so many people demand sequels of movies since most of the time, the story's finished and there's nothing interesting to be added (which is why sequels usually suck).

Thanks for having Jen watch this with you Allis... I mean Nick. One of my favorite other Alan Tudyk films is the 2007 Frank Oz directed black comedy "Death At A Funeral". It's a brilliant British film also starring Peter Dinklage. Just don't waste your time on the American remake that is almost a shot by shot version. Nothing different was added to the story. Once again, a great review by you both. Thank you for all your hard work and effort that goes into the channel. You both deserve all the "likes" and two really big cookies.

O, this movie is an perfect example of the filigree use of black humor, and literality brought to the point of absurdity 🤣 In addition, the creators managed to cram here a personal emotional drama, a love line, and a classic horror plot... A masterpiece 😄 Oh yes - there is also a clear message "Kids, always remember about safety when handling sharp cutting objects, dangerous tools and firearms!!!" 😂

Reaper deserved more seasons. Tucker & Dale deserved more attention when it came out. It’s one of the best. It works as horror comedy, buddy comedy, and Rom Com.

That kid playing Chad, I don't know whether he's a good actor... but he's certainly got some kind of range. I hated him, so deeply, in this movie very early on. But for his very small role in Final Destination 3, he played a very likeable character.

I love this movie, I´m really glad that 'mom' (Jen) got to see it! A really great message that unfortunately doesn't seem to sink in: too many are quick to judge and stereotype. My only issue is that so many people have a problem with the name Chad. It's unfair to the good Chads in the world (and I know one). But aside from that, great reaction!
