It’s always so comforting watching your reactions. Feels like I’m with family. Recently got discarded out of the blue by the love of my life and I’m having a hard time coping with the loss and shock of being left without any explanation. This made my anxiety level go waaay down. Thank you! 🙌🏼

Another Pixar fan here!❤ The ratatouille is a mediterranean dish from the south of France. Take red, green and yellow peppers, eggplant, zucchini and tomato, cut them in cubes or slices, add fresh garlic and herbs of Provence. Cook slowly with a little bit of olive oil, and voilà!

I love Pixar’s earlier movies. They have a special place in my heart since I grew up with them (as I know did so many others) 😊

Well, as a french woman, I'm always proud when a movie takes place in my country 😁 But, you have to know that the dish served to Ego was created specially for the movie. The real ratatouille (the one I grew up with despite not liking it) is the one cooked by Ego's mom. Colette calls it " a peasant dish " because it's not the type of dish normally served in a gastronomic restaurant. Speaking about Ego, the flashback he had is, what we calls in France, " une madeleine de Proust " meaning something who reminds us our childhood. It's inspired by the french writer, Marcel Proust, who wrote in a book that the taste of a madeleine reminded him when he went on his aunt's house and she always gave him one after dipping it in her tea. About Colette, if you found her creepy here, you should hear her in french and funny thing, her voice actress is Camille, the singer of the song " Le festin " you can hear during the movie. She's also inspired of the french chief, Hélène Darroze (she has six stars), who allowed them to come in the kitchen of one of her restaurants for seeing how it was

Love this movie! I went to see it with a close friend of mine who was a chef. He has since passed on, but I always think of him when I see this. Miss you, Stan. Great reaction, guys!

Another wonderful reaction from you! I love this movie. My favorite voice is the female chef- Janeane Garofalo. She did a great french accent. I'm a big fan of her.
