early 2010s electro/euro-dance pop JLo was the best. She was about to do the album A.K.A. in the same tyle and release it by the end of 2013, but eventually she decided to change the vibe, music producers and cancel her collaborations with Maxwell and Robin Thicke and make the A.K.A. more urban and rap. This was a mistake. A.K.A. would've been much more successful if JLo followed the path she had chosen during her Love? and Dance Again...the Hits eras. Removing Live It Up from the final cut was also unfortunate. She thought she'd be next Rihanna and Miley Cyrus, but the truth is that people at that time still wanted dance JLo, not wanna-be gangsta urban R&B JLo.

Wow didnt know that all her singles are flopping now and couldve released a spanish album in mid to late 2010s but takes 10 years to release a english album that gp is not interested. And too bad she is being massively mocked by music stans for her vocal capabilities

@@dchumongous6185 yes! An 8 year gap between A.K.A. (2014) and Marry Me OST (2022) looks very strange. She was about to release Por Primera Vez, her second Spanish-language studio album with songs like Amor Amor, Ni Tu Ni Yo, El Mirate, Dinero, El Anillo and many more back in 2017-2018, but I think record label gave up on it because of horrendous sales results of A.K.A. Tbh, I think Marry Me and This Is Me Now albums also won't bring back the cost of their production, but who cares when JLo is rich and she can buy herself an entire production and promotion of album these days.
